May 7, 2018: Arrived at Davao International Airport via Philippine Airlines (PAL) PR 2813, flight from Manila to Davao (1015H to 1205H). The flight was a little bit delayed, and that we arrived around 1215H.
All places, no matter where, no matter what, are worth visiting.

Grab Taxi is available from Davao International Airport to any part of Davao City. You may ride one and proceed to Davao Terminal going to Mati, Davao Oriental. (Grab may range from PhP 250.00 to PhP 400.00, while UV Express or Bus may cost you around PhP 250.00 to Mati.)
If you happen to have someone to pick you up, I suggest you make a stopover at Panabo, Davao del Norte, and visit Twin Palm Kambingan. They have the best “Sinigang na Kambing“, I ever tasted. The food price is the same or little bit higher than your favorite carinderia in Manila.

The travel time from Davao City to Mati, Davao Oriental is 4 to 5 hours via PUV.
Sometimes, you have to travel a long way to find what is near.

We stayed at Honey’s Hotel and Restaurant.

The standard room will cost you PhP 700.00 per night. A deluxe room (shown in the picture) will cost you PhP 1,100.00 per night. They also have breakfast at their Restaurant that would worth from PhP 80.00 to PhP 130.00 for complete meal that includes a cup of rice, vegetable and meat dishes, and a cup of coffee. They also have function rooms to celebrate occasions. You may also asked for room service massage worth PhP 400.00 for one and a half hour (1.5 Hours). They only have one masseuse named “Aling Nora“. She uses variety of Oils and Alcohols, and I guarantee you that she massages very well. You may get her contact details from the receptionist. Some areas though are still in construction phase and unit close out. For now, the overall rating will be a 6 out of 10. The hotel has great potential. Can’t wait to see it on its full operations. Kudos to their staffs! They make sure that our stay with them was well.

The Hotel where we stayed is around a kilometer away from the busy district of Mati City. Thanks to these Tricycles, it only costed us PhP 9.00 per person per ride. I have a glimpse of Mati’s Baywalk Park, you may want to take pictures there with your loved ones.
